Meghan & Ian
Starlit Point, Manitoba
A soft colour palette using local flowers, quicksand roses with lots of greenery and texture and just a hint of fall.
The buttonholes with burgundy scabiosa, real feathers and textured spirea lent a real country squire look to the groom’s burgundy tweed suit.
Flower Oma held a vintage basket of dried rose petals with a tiny dried bouquet on the basket handle. As the bride and groom are both chefs it was a joy to dress the dining tables with olive and rosemary branches. The table centrepieces brimmed with locally grown Flowering Oregano, Mountain Mint and Lemon Basil.
I was told that the fragrance from the greenery amazed the guests as they entered the dining tent.
